While some companies remain skeptical about automation in the workplace, 65% of talent leaders think that this type of technology has had a positive impact on their business. In fact, a full 70% believe that HR automation helps companies make better staffing decisions.
Those are just some of the findings from Randstad Sourceright’s 2018 Talent Trends Report, which explores topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics. Across the globe, talent leaders agree that optimizing technology is an important part of workforce planning … even if they are not quite sure how to implement these tools.
Natalia Zúñiga of Randstad Chile advises employers to stay updated on HR technology trends (translated): “Being aware of the technologies that are launched in the market that can impact the performance of an organization is key to defining the annual budget and evaluating investments," she says. Zúñiga also suggests creating an advisory board to help guide talent strategy in terms of robotics and AI in the workforce.
