5 bringing total talent MSP to mid-sized companies. It is a practical approach for the growing organization, as the on-site or virtual expert team from the provider also leverages technology, talent analytics and expert resources that the hiring organization might not otherwise be able to afford in-house. In addition, the solution team adds a high level of scalability, as the team can ramp up or draw down quickly based on demand. While the solution can work for large enterprises, the high-touch relationship lends itself to implementation in an organization with a less complex structure or more contained geographical footprint. For a smaller organization, starting the integrated journey early can prove to be an advantage: when the organization grows, that total talent capability can grow with it. As with any change in process, a great talent partner is instrumental in bringing the strategy to life. What would it take to realize the advantages of an integrated, total talent MSP for a mid-sized company? The answer hinges on a high level of partnership, collaboration and support. In the most common large enterprise MSPs, the provider focuses on managing the flexible talent function and brings along various parts of the process and technologies to complement the client's existing internal capabilities. In an integrated MSP for a mid-sized company, the provider acts as an internal partner, with staff placed in-house, either physically or virtually. This delivery model helps provide a superior stakeholder experience for candidates, hiring managers and suppliers. In effect, the integrated MSP becomes the one-stop shop for all talent requests. This removes the burden of managing the talent supply from the client, gives the client greater access to talent, and enables them to take advantage of the technology, business intelligence and expertise that only a dedicated provider can deliver. The human element adds an important difference for this model. By putting dedicated talent advisors in place to manage all talent needs for a client, total talent management helps hiring managers navigate the engagement process, make the right decisions and plan for future needs.
