After partnering with Randstad Sourceright for RPO
around the globe in 2015, one of the world's leading
innovators in chemicals, pharmaceuticals and life
sciences was seeking ways to further optimize its
recruiting and hiring processes. Without standardized
candidate management procedures across regions
and locations, the employer lacked the visibility and
oversight it needed to ensure efficiency on a global level.

Previously, recruiters were overburdened with
administrative tasks – including scheduling interviews,
requesting travel arrangements and handling travel
reimbursements. As a result, their time on value-added
engagement with candidates and hiring managers was
limited, and without consistent processes in place, the life
sciences organization also lacked the control it needed to
manage costs and time dedicated to these tasks.
