Recruiting Daily Advisor: 5 ways to speed up recruitment.

Where does HR technology end and the human touch begin? It’s a question that looms large for talent leaders who are seeking to accelerate recruitment without losing the personal connection that candidates expect.

According to Randstad Sourceright’s recent Talent Trends research, half of 800 human capital leaders surveyed believe that initial screening should be mostly or completely automated. The same goes for technology tools that track HR data and deliver real-time talent analytics. After initial screening, the appetite for HR tech drops off. Yet, 65% believe that the candidate experience will be enhanced with continued innovation.

Knowing how and when to automate HR processes is key to making the most of available technologies. Randstad Sourceright recommends looking at automation and AI tools holistically, as well as engaging the experts to support implementation and transition efforts. Most important, however, is keeping focus on the talent and creating a positive (and memorable) recruiting experience.
