Workplace Insight: employers shifting to flexible work arrangements.

If COVID-19 taught the business world anything, it was how important it is to be able to pivo: to be agile enough to respond to the unexpected. To value flexibility as an enabler of future success.

Randstad Sourceright’s 2021 Talent Trends research finds that 77% of C-suite and HR leaders say they are more focused on workforce agility than ever before. Another 56% plan to shift some roles to contingent, project or contract work to maintain optimal flexibility and responsiveness.

Leaders are also interested in a technology-enabled candidate experience that can streamline sourcing and recruitment and attract the best people for both permanent and contingent roles.

“Companies will need to look at their workforce and skills more holistically … using market intelligence and talent analytics,” says Michael Smith, global CEO of Randstad Sourceright. “Disruption often leads to transformative results, and organizations should consider how to take this opportunity to redefine work and the use of all forms of talent.”
