totalent: three trends enhancing RPO delivery.

June 30, 2021 Rachid Schmitz

Recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) is evolving right along with the rest of the world of work. As businesses around the globe recover from the pandemic, implementing an RPO provides organizations with greater agility and scalability.

While we can still gauge program success by time to hire, cost per hire, retention rates and other traditional metrics, employers must also now consider other measures that reflect on a more holistic view of the talent acquisition function.

Rachid Schmitz, managing director of Randstad Sourceright for continental Europe, points to three trends that are defining the future of RPO delivery: automation, employer branding and real-time data.

“Real-time access to supply and demand data is not at the fingertips of most leaders within talent acquisition,” he says. “Randstad Sourceright is giving them something that’s very hard for them to reproduce on their own and that will have a lot of value in the future.”

Schmitz also sees companies in continental Europe becoming more proactive when it comes to total talent management and the benefits of RPO.
