In today's hiring landscape, a diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategy is more than a compliance issueor a nice-to-have notion. Done well, an emphasis on diversity is key to talent attraction, talent quality, employee engagement and productivity. However, achieving a diverse culture requires more than simply hiring a mix of people -- and organizations continually struggle to develop the metrics needed to drive improvement.
During the HRO Today Forum, Peter Vermeulen, head of HR Americas for The Linde Group will share a practical set of metrics that boils down the talent D&I vision into realistic, measurable and actionable components. He will be introduced and joined in the discussion by Audra Jenkins, senior director, Diversity and Compliance, at Randstad Sourceright. The session will explore six aspects of successful D&I strategy, along with the metrics that can help measure, manage and improve an organization's diversity position. In addition, Vermeulen will show how this approach can be applied to create a diversity dashboard based on timely, objective data. Session attendees will see first-hand how these specifically developed measures can turn diversity into a true talent and business strength.
