Throughout the past decade, Germany has developed one of the most successful staffing industries in Europe. But on April 1, 2017 a reform on the temporary labor law (the German Temporary Staffing Act) raised some questions.
What’s changed? In short, the new law has made the use of temporary labor more restrictive, favoring the flexworker when it comes to payment and treatment. Along with the reform, penalties were also modified, penalizing companies that do not follow the new rules and regulations.
