HRExaminer Radio: AI and next-generation RPO.

August 6, 2019 Jason Roberts

Jason Roberts, global head of technology and analytics for Randstad Sourceright, sits with HRExaminer Radio for an insightful Q&A about how AI and big data can help drive recruitment strategies.

At Randstad Sourceright, Roberts’ team provides the technology innovations to help drive success for our recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) clients. Technology stacks can include candidate relationship management (CRM), AI-based sourcing, interview management, candidate self-scheduling, among other tools and solutions.

“At the heart of RPO is technical capabilities,” states Roberts. “It’s not just a lift and shift [process, as it was in early RPO models]. In next-generation RPO, people are looking for added value and more effective technologies.”

When asked about adoption rates for automated solutions, Roberts talks about the need to fill reqs quickly and efficiently. He shares examples about text recruiting plug-ins and AI-sourcer models — two new technologies that can meet immediate needs, while also feeling familiar to users. When an automated solution proves to meet those goals for recruiters, adoption rates are that much higher.

But that’s just a small part of the insights Roberts shares. You can also learn why RPO and technology investments can cost less than having empty seats, why CRMs have low adoption rates, how AI-driven assessment tools can help with hiring quality, and so much more.
