HRD: more turning to HR tech to solve recruiting and retention challenges.

Tech-savvy millennials are one the largest segments of the global workforce, and companies are actively seeking ways to attract, engage and retain this valuable demographic. In fact, more than half of employers surveyed by Randstad Sourceright in our 2018 Talent Trends survey say they are investing in HR technologies to meet the needs of these digital natives.

Three out of every four talent leaders say that they are making technology upgrades in order to simplify, accelerate and improve their hiring processes. Employers are also investing in smart technologies — such as artificial intelligence, chatbots, human cloud platforms and predictive analytics — all to address the issues of talent scarcity and retention.

“Employers are investing heavily in digital recruitment tools to better reach [millennials] and focus on creating an employer brand that is more likely to retain this large segment of the workforce,” says Rebecca Henderson, CEO of Randstad Sourceright. “Companies need to create an employment experience that is sought out by job seekers and employees alike.”
