Would you trust a computer to help make your hiring decisions? An increasing number of companies are saying “yes.”

The advantage is clear, says Rebecca Henderson, CEO of Randstad Sourceright, “Automation can help connect high-skilled workers to the right jobs quicker.” Of course, algorithms are not perfect and the jury is still out on machine-learning as it applies to diversity and bias.

Henderson says that she thinks that humans will always have a role in the process. But speed will be essential, particularly on the front end of the application process. All of which makes for a lively debate.
