Ritz Herald: demand for pharma researchers on the rise.

As pharmaceutical companies race to develop vaccines for COVID-19, there has been an increase in hiring in the pharmaceutical research and development space, with clinical trial managers (40%) and research associates (50%) being the most sought after roles. This was one of the key findings of Randstad Sourceright’s COVID-19 talent impact analysis report.

Demand for assistant store managers (38%), financial consultants and insurance underwriters (50%) is also on the rise. “The economic slowdown brought about by the pandemic has forced companies to focus on what jobs and skills are truly essential and most valuable to their businesses,” said Sue Marcus, regional president at Randstad Sourceright North America. “We’ve also taken a qualitative look at the mindsets and behaviors of candidates working in these job families to provide companies with a more complete talent picture and help them shape their recruitment strategies.”
