Staffing Stream: selecting an MSP partner.

April 24, 2020 Melissa Gaitten

As the employment landscape continues to evolve, organizations have a more diverse mix of talent — such as permanent, contingent, temporary and gig workers — in their workforce. The desire to take a more strategic approach to managing various sources of talent has, in part, led to the continued growth and adoption of managed services programs (MSP).

There are multiple benefits of adopting an MSP, such as cost savings, transparency on workforce spend, compliance and risk mitigation, and improved talent quality and time to fill. But while the advantages are clear, launching a first-generation MSP may not be an easy task for all organizations. The first step to getting it right is choosing your MSP partner.

When choosing an MSP partner, Melissa Gaitten, VP, integrated MSP at Randstad Sourceright, advises companies to “meet leadership and sponsors from the MSP [as] they will become your trusted advisors and should bring confidence through their knowledge and expertise.”

See Gaitten’s article in the Staffing Stream for more tips on selecting an MSP partner. You can also get your exclusive copy of the Randstad Sourceright MSP Playbook for additional insights on launching and managing an MSP.
