Recent Talent Trends research from Randstad Sourceright shows that companies around the world have similar challenges when it comes to staffing for today and planning their workforces for the future. Seventy-five percent (75%) of talent leaders surveyed express interest in adopting a total talent management strategy that takes all talent classifications into consideration. In Belgium, that number increases to 80%.
Luc De Bolle, operational director at Randstad Sourceright Belgium, works with businesses that want to take a more holistic approach to talent. That includes determining the best way to use permanent employees, temporary workers and freelancers to overcome talent shortages and skills gaps.
“It is of strategic importance to attract the right people,” says De Bolle. “That determines what the company is capable of, now and in the future. You have to build a pool of talent.”
In his recent interview with NEXTConomy, he advises companies to take it slow: “Start with next year. Consider which profiles you will need in 2020 and how you will find them.”
