Are your employees working harder and longer hours during the COVID-19 crisis? Do you know what stress they face outside of work?

As employees suddenly have to work from home during the pandemic, many have found themselves struggling to adjust to the new way of working and balance their work and family commitments. Some might also feel that they are working more to avoid being seen as a slacker.

To ensure employees stay engaged during these challenging times, it is important for employers to take their mental health into consideration. “Don't just take the business as usual approach when you're talking to members of your team,” suggested Floss Aggrey, vice president of diversity and inclusion at Randstad Sourceright. “Realize [employees] need a space to talk about things they're going through.”
