the situation When a global provider of IT and networking solutions engaged Randstad Sourceright as its RPO provider in 2008, the company sought a solution that would boost its ability to compete for scarce IT talent in the United States. With more than 70,000 employees globally, the company's talent needs are greater than those of its industry competitors. The challenge was to build and sustain a recruiting capability that would keep up with the demands of a competitive market, excel at all facets of talent best practices, adapt to demand fluctuations and, later, support global growth. the solution Randstad Sourceright's agile ROD solution provided vital recruiter support to the company's in-house team. The highly flexible RPO solution later grew to include all aspects of the recruiting process and set the stage for expanding this flexible on-demand RPO globally. In 2016, the organization partnered with Randstad Sourceright to replicate its successful recruiting strategies across additional regions. Highlights include: • global ROD. Internal recruiters (approximately 350) and Randstad Sourceright recruiters (approximately 150) work side- by-side across North America, EMEA and APAC. • addressing critical roles. Randstad Sourceright sources difficult-to-fill cloud and security engineering and services roles, as well as engineers, technicians, account representatives and customer service specialists. • performance management. Training and upskilling, goal setting, review, and other performance-related conversations help keep the program and results on track. • peer-to-peer recognition program. Randstad Sourceright partnered with the talent acquisition team to create a global recognition program that is supported by legal and HR groups to ensure compliance. Thirty-two awards were presented in the first 1.5 months. • global talent acquisition training. Education programs for key client and RPO talent acquisition team members include topics such as employer branding, sourcing, diversity sourcing and engineering recruiting training. • flexible and scalable RPO model.
