To kick off the RPO quickly and effectively, Randstad Sourceright established an implementation plan that focused on improving the process, gaining buy-in and leveraging a common recruiting technology platform globally. Areas of focus included: • Methodology – A best practice, five-step approach included planning, discovery, design, installation and transition, and operational handover. Each area included participation from RPO SMEs working directly with regional project managers and relevant team members from the client side. • Structure – Shared services centers in APAC, EMEA and North America support a global team with sourcing specialists, talent advisors and process administration. This structure provides the organization with the resources and bandwidth needed to support the local hiring activity around the world. • Communication and education – An intensive six-week training and education "road show" provided hiring managers with the training needed to work within the new global process and technology structure. Conducted by the RPO team across each region, in coordination with on-the-ground client champions, the training provided the interaction needed to build credibility and trust among a skeptical user audience. • Technology – The company switched all regional recruiting operations to a common technology framework, including an ATS aligned to the global recruiting process. Randstad Sourceright worked with the client IT team to address integration of the ATS, connection and alignment of career portals, data extraction and reporting, onboarding processes and connectivity with the various enterprise systems. the solution case study the situation For a global industrial and environmental technology innovator, the ability to secure top talent with hard to find skills was crucial to its business success.
