When a life sciences leader entered into a global
recruitment process outsourcing (RPO)
partnership
with Randstad Sourceright, the company made
significant improvements in its recruitment success,
hiring efficiencies and talent experience. To further
gain value from the program, the company expanded
the relationship to include candidate management
services – encompassing interview scheduling, travel
arrangement requests and candidate reimbursement –
delivered by Randstad's specialized recruitment centers.
Launching in 12 European countries in December
of 2016 and in the U.S. in April of 2017, the program
continues to expand and has surpassed the company's
performance expectations, significantly reducing
applicant processing times and improving the overall
candidate experience.

Initially setting the candidate response time to one
day, through the new approach, the company now
responds to candidates in just a few hours. This
greatly enhances the candidate experience and helps
to keep talent engaged at this critical point of the
recruitment process.
By accelerating candidates into the interview process,
Randstad Sourceright has created a stronger, more
efficient experience for hiring managers and talent.
Originally expected to take four working days, the actual
average time needed to schedule interviews is now
1.7 days.
The company initially set a target of 10 days for
time to conduct candidate interviews. Randstad
Sourceright has helped reduce this to just 4.5 days,
greatly compressing the overall processing time for
around 900 applicants each month.
