The Business Need: ABN AMRO is one of the three largest banks in the Netherlands and provides services to both private and business customers. It is well-recognized internationally in the field of private banking and offers a range of specialized services worldwide. Because of the competitive nature of its market segment, the financial institution is constantly seeking specialized financial skills and needed support from a recruiting partner that offers excellent access to this scarce talent. For this reason, ABN AMRO engaged Randstad Sourceright as a recruitment process outsourcing partner (RPO) in the Netherlands in 2012. The Situation: The consultancy and service center of ABN AMRO had transformed rapidly, especially in the area of mortgage lending. As a result, the skills profiles it required had substantially changed. Furthermore, because of significant growth of the department, it needed to quickly find 20 employees that met strict training and competency requirements. And because of the high workload and growing commercial importance of the business, the bank needed the new hires to start work within six weeks. ABN AMRO realized that it didn't have the resources, time, or specific knowledge of the local talent market and turned to Randstad Sourceright because of the large number of vacancies, the scarcity of the skill set, and the tight deadline to make the hires. RPO increases speed to market and value for leading Dutch bank facing a tight deadline, ABN AMRO turns to Randstad Sourceright to support dynamic business growth www.randstadsourceright.com
