The Business Need: This diversified industrial group with 155,000 employees worldwide is a leading innovator in materials development. With a growing contingent workforce in Germany and increasing complexity, it realized a solution was needed to address considerable gaps. These included compliance with labor legislation, legal mandates, and workforce safety issues. The Situation: • With a disparate supply chain and hiring managers directly engaging vendors, the company faced gaps in its governance. • Because of this decentralized approach to procuring talent, compliance efforts were often inconsistent and created risks for the company. • Furthermore, the German business unit utilized a high number of suppliers but did not standardize rate cards or regularly perform market analysis to optimize its spend. A transformed process also aligns each requisition to the suppliers that can best deliver the specific skills needed by the hiring managers. Savings and higher fill rate – The program in the past year has already produced a savings of 3% of spend under management. Supported by a more efficient hiring process, the fill rate has reached 95%. Transparency and compliance – One of the critical benefits of Randstad Sourceright's MSP services is the implementation of standardized hiring processes, which ensure the company is compliant with all German labor laws and provides workforce transparency the client didn't previously have. The Results: The Solution: • The client partnered with Randstad Sourceright to implement an MSP program that began at one location.
