The Business Need: To achieve growth and to remain a leader in the competitive automotive component market, attracting and retaining technical talent are an absolute must. Bosch, a global leader that supplies to many significant auto manufacturers, needed a recruitment partner with access to highly technical and scarce skills across various disciplines and who could provide a streamlined recruitment process supported by deep market insight. It also needed a solution that could be set up quickly and scaled as the business required. Its objectives included: • establishing an effective and efficient recruitment process • implementing an applicant tracking system (ATS) • reducing costs and spend on external recruitment agencies • decreasing fill time and gaining flexibility from a solution that can be scaled up or down • finding, attracting, and retaining the best talent in the market. Bosch decided to outsource all of its recruitment activities to Randstad Sourceright based on our recruitment expertise and knowledge of the labor market. The Situation: The challenge lay in the implementation of a new and efficient recruitment process and to win the support of hiring managers through effective change management. Also, talent leaders looked to strengthen the employer brand and referral activities, build talent communities, and eventually expand the program to include international recruitment. Bosch adopted a total talent management approach to increase internal talent mobility — including between different regions and business units — to retain employees and rejuvenate the workforce population. At the same time, it looked to enhance its training efforts to nurture talent from within. Because of these ambitious goals, company leaders realized they needed to clearly communicate with and set expectations for all internal stakeholders including HR and hiring managers. The Solution: • Initially, HR leaders turned to an RPO solution to address the recruitment needs of the Tilburg facility only. However, after a successful launch with Randstad Sourceright, Bosch expanded the engagement into Belgium and Luxembourg two and a half years later, and the program now makes 200 hires annually across 11 locations. To help meet all of the company's recruitment needs, Randstad Sourceright recruitment shifts into high gear after successful RPO launch in the Netherlands, Robert Bosch looks to expand program to additional countries www.randstadsourceright.com
