The market is good for job seekers in the United States. But while they have high expectations of being able to find a new job, they are pessimistic about their prospects of finding an ideal position.
This sentiment could be partly due to the recruiting experience. According to a recent Randstad Sourceright Talent Trends study, 84% of job seekers report having a negative candidate experience. These findings are in direct opposition of what talent leaders believe, thinking that their companies offer an excellent or very good candidate experience.
Randstad Sourceright advises employers to close this gap by infusing a more personal touch into their talent acquisition process. While technology can perform some recruiting tasks, it takes a human being to personalize the experience and capture the diverse perspectives that candidates are looking for in an inclusive workplace.
