Audra Jenkins, chief diversity and inclusion officer at Randstad USA, recently appeared on the Recruitment Innovation Exchange (RIX) “Take it from the Top” podcast to discuss the importance of creating impactful and insightful diversity and inclusion strategies.
As a leader in the diversity and inclusion space, Jenkins knows how to help companies dispel stereotypes, tackle biases and adopt best practices to achieve greater cultural competence.
“It is necessary for us to do our business to be equally as providing expertise and being a subject matter expert in this arena,” says Jenkins. “Clients are looking at partners, they’re looking at people who can speak the language, who know what they’re going through. They want to be able to understand the challenges.”
Under Jenkins’ guidance, Randstad has been named to DiversityInc’s 2019 Top 50 Companies list in recognition of the company’s commitment to — and achievement in — diverse and inclusive business practices. “We will always be the first staffing firm on that list,” states Jenkins. “No matter who comes after us. Being a trailblazer, working hard, the support of our leadership has been amazing.”
