Japan in focus: automation and robotics help address talent scarcity

Although the Japanese economy continues to improve after a long period of stunted growth, employers who participated in the latest Randstad Sourceright Talent Trends survey are still cautious when looking ahead. As its workforce ages, Japan is faced with challenges around balancing the needs of different generations of workers and the loss of experienced skills from retiring baby boomers. But leaders see flexible work arrangements and automation as likely solutions.
